Leadership

Mac Jones

Managing Partner

Mr. Jones co-founded Platform Management and is responsible for day to day operations and strategic decisions. Prior to forming Platform, he founded HJD Property Management LP, a student housing manager overseeing 5,000+ beds. He has 25 years of experience as a multifamily owner, operator and manager. A graduate of Baylor University, he is a member of the Real Estate Council of Austin, the National Apartment Association, and is a Board member of Western Hills Little League and the Baylor Line Foundation.

Brandon Huffman

Partner

Brandon Huffman co-founded Platform Management and is responsible for strategic planning and financial review. He is also the CEO of Huffman & Co., which includes Huffman Drywall, Huffman Contractors, and Huffman Development. Through his companies, he has developed and constructed over $1 Billion of multifamily product in Texas, Arkansas, Kansas, Tennessee, Florida and Virginia. He is a graduate of the University of Texas-Austin where he played golf on scholarship. In his free time, he enjoys golf, travel, and spending time with his family.

Amanda Brecht-Haddad

Executive Vice President

Amanda Brecht-Haddad is an accomplished leader and the Executive Vice President of Platform Residential. With extensive expertise in property management, leadership, new developments, and asset management, Amanda has successfully overseen operations for properties spanning coast to coast. Her focus on creating and implementing comprehensive operational frameworks has been instrumental in streamlining acquisitions and launching new developments for the company.

Amanda earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Georgia Southern University and is currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration at Stephen F. Austin State University, reflecting her commitment to continuous learning and professional growth. Her combination of practical experience and academic excellence positions her as a cornerstone of Platform Residential’s leadership team.

Originally from Georgia, Amanda now resides in Texas, where she enjoys spending time with her three children, painting, and traveling.

JUDY STRAIN

Judy Strain is the Controller at Platform with full oversight of all development and property accounting. Her responsibilities include monthly financial reporting, lender compliance, audits, and improving and maintaining internal controls and accounting best practices. 

Prior to joining Platform in 2023, Judy gained over 30 years of real estate accounting experience with both small and large firms where she saw great success in building accounting teams and improving processes.

Judy is a native Texan and attended Richland College with a degree in Accounting.  She resides in Texas and enjoys spending time with her husband, 3 kids , 1 grandson and soon to be granddaughter and Silver Lab.  She loves long distance running, gardening, hiking mountains,  cooking and sports.

Carla Farquhar

Director of Experience

Carla Farquhar is the Director of Experience at Platform Residential, where she leads the Platform One Centralization Team to ensure excellence in resident experience and community engagement initiatives. She also provides systems support, cross-training, and leadership to on-site teams, ensuring a consistent and exceptional experience across all Platform Residential communities.

With over two decades of experience in the multifamily industry, Carla brings a wealth of knowledge and a proven track record of success. Known for her ability to cultivate vibrant, positive communities, Carla’s passion for fostering strong resident and team relationships is key to Platform Residential’s operational success.

Carla resides in Arkansas, where she enjoys quality time with family and friends. In her free time, she can often be found tending to her small poultry farm.

Adrian Henley

Director of Facilities
Adrian Henley is the Director of Facilities at Platform Residential, responsible for overseeing facility operations across conventional multifamily and college housing communities in multiple states. Dedicated to excellence and efficiency, Adrian ensures properties are maintained to the highest standards, creating exceptional living experiences for residents.

With 25 years of experience in the construction and maintenance industry, Adrian has a proven track record of driving cost savings and operational improvements. His expertise and leadership have consistently delivered measurable value to both residents and stakeholders.

A native of Little Rock, Arkansas, Adrian holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his four children and honing his skills in billiards.

Mackenzie Lane

Centralized Leasing Specialist

Mackenzie Lane serves as the Centralized Leasing Specialist for Platform One at Platform Residential, leveraging over seven years of experience in customer service and property management.

A two-time Pinnacle Award winner in Arkansas and recipient of multiple customer service honors, Mackenzie’s dedication to excellence is evident in every interaction. She also holds the Certified Apartment Leasing Professional (CALP) designation, showcasing her commitment to advancing her skills and expertise in the industry.

Outside of work, Mackenzie enjoys embracing her passions as a proud dog and fish mom and is an avid fan of all things Disney.

Lindsey Bodiak

Financial Coordinator

Lindsey Bodiak serves as the Financial Coordinator at Platform Residential, where she oversees rent collections, lease audits, renewals, and a wide array of financial responsibilities.

With over a decade of experience in property management, Lindsey has excelled in on-site roles such as Leasing Agent, Assistant Manager, and Property Manager, working closely with residents to ensure seamless living experiences. Her extensive customer service background enhances her ability to foster positive interactions and build strong community relationships.

Based in Arkansas, Lindsey holds a degree in Management. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, hiking, and relaxing with a good Hallmark movie.
